Patricia A. (Church) Reilly, 91, formerly of Rochester, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford after a period of declining health.& She was the wife of the late Donald Reilly.

Born and raised in New Bedford, daughter of the late Edwin and Florence (Sylvia) Church, she lived in Washington DC and on the Cape, as well as in California during the 1960's before retuning to the area and to Rochester, where she lived for 8 years prior to entering the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home. "Nannie" as she was affectionately known was a communicant of St. Lawrence Martyr Church in New Bedford.

Patricia graduated from New Bedford High School and received her Master's Degree from Bridgewater State College. She taught Business Classes for the CETA Program and also Night School at NBHS. She later was a mail processor for the U.S.Postal Service in Providence, RI until her retirement in 1992.

Patricia volunteered for Hospice, enjoyed going to yard sales, spending time with her family and her pets and she was known for her wonderful sense of humor and her "Nannieisms". She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and they her.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry L. Weeks and her husband Lawrence of New Bedford; two granddaughters, Caitlyn Weeks of New Bedford and Kellie Anderson and her husband Mark of Franklin; four great grandchildren, Norah and Colin Anderson, Brenna Reilly Santos and Christian Santos; a niece, Donna Church of TN and a nephew, Edwin Church, IV and his wife Suzanne of Dartmouth. Patricia was the sister of the late Edwin Church, III

Calling hours are Friday from 4-7pm in the Donaghy New Day Cremation and Funeral Care, 465 County St., New Bedford. Her funeral will be Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 8am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Lawrence Martyr Church, New Bedford.
