NEW BEDFORD - Pauline (Daigle) Martin, 73, of New Bedford passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family Tuesday, April 15, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Jean J. Henri Daigle and Alice (Babineau) Daigle, she was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Fisher College and Johnson and Wales.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Martin and his companion Mary of Maine, Ronald Martin and his companion Abbie and Chad Martin all of New Bedford;   Loving grandmother to, Jillian, Ronald, Jr., Trey, Tylor, Katelynn, Kyle, Michael, Jr., Julia, Alana, Makenna, Mason, Myles and Jameson;  great grandchildren, Javiery, Hayden, Trey, Jr., Sienna, Jassan, Felix, Anastasia, Tyrel and Kayson;  her siblings, Joyce Davidopoulos and her late husband Peter of New Bedford, Gerald Daigle and companion Bonnie of Fairhaven, Peter Daigle of Acushnet and Henry "Beanie" Daigle of Fairhaven;  and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Her faith in God carried her through difficult times in life and her health. Pauline had a heart of gold and was someone who always had her door open for anyone who needed her.

In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated and private arrangements are by the Donaghy New Day Cremation and Funeral Care, 465 County Street, New Bedford.
