Obituary

ATTLEBORO-Ralph E. Tinkham Jr., 79, passed away on November 26, 2025. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Schaier) Tinkham.

Ralph was born in Norwood and was the son of the late Ralph Tinkham, Sr., and Violet (Heuser) Tinkham.

Ralph served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was employed for many years as a heavy equipment mechanic. Ralph was very creative and had a lifelong passion for building models. He volunteered yearly at Norwood hospital, building and donating dollhouses for patients. Ralph was a talented mechanic and enjoyed working on anything he could. If it was broken, Ralph could repair it. Ralph was also an avid collector of sci-fi memorabilia especially Star Trek and loved Scooby Doo.

Ralph is survived by his children, Lisa Cavicchi and her husband Steven of Attleboro, Anthony Visconte and his wife Kathy of Wareham, Albert Solbo and his wife Kim of Norton, George Tinkham and his wife Paula of Plainville and Robin Tinkham and her husband Michael of Attleboro; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 4-7pm in the Foley-Cook New Day Funeral Home, 126 South Main St., Attleboro.
