Robert A. Gilman, age 72, of East Wareham, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Born in Worcester, he was the son of Alice (MacGinnis) Gilman and the late Clarence F. Gilman, and husband of Patricia (Frenier) Gilman. Robert was a master of all trades and enjoyed tinkering in many areas including building dollhouses, fishing, gardening, hunting, working on cars and spending time with family and doing things that they enjoyed.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his children: Michael Gilman of Oxford, MA, Christina Ferris (husband Robert) of Holt, FL, Jason Gilman (fiancé Shelby Gomes) of Putnam, CT, Amy Prunier (husband Paul) of East Wareham, Adam Gilman of Niantic CT, step children:  Misty Daniels of Danielson, CT, and John Daniels of Uxbridge, MA, siblings: David Gilman of Putnam, CT, Cheryl Dumont (husband David) of Dudley, MA, Karen Green (husband Robert) of Webster, MA, Kathy Chenevert of Webster, MA, grandchildren: CaSara Gilman, Jeremy White, Dylan White, Kaleb Gilman, Gabrielle Gilman, Benjamin Prunier, Giana Gilman, Asher Gilman, step grandchildren:Gage Benoit, Nikko Benoit, Kaden Daniels, Calyiana Pacher, great granddaughter Noella White. He was also the grandfather of the late Joshua Prunier and Kaylen Gilman.

Robert's private funeral arrangements are under the care of Donaghy New Funeral Home 465 County St. New Bedford, MA.
