SWANSEA-Robert W. Orten, 66, of Fall River passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at his sisters home in Swansea after a period of declining health. Born in Newport, RI, son of the late Robert E. and Joan (Furtado) Orten, he lived most of his life in Swansea.

Robert was an over the road truck driver for many years. He enjoyed boating and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his three daughters, Jennifer Mello and Tanya Orten both of SC and Sabrina Vest of CA; His grandchildren, Gage and Madison Mello and Jedidiah Vest; his longtime companion, Karen Obuchon of Fall River; his siblings, Brenda Hyland and her husband Michael and David Orten and his wife Kim all of Swansea; and several nieces and nephews.
