Obituary

Roland L. Paquette 78, of Attleboro, passed away on March 7, 2026. He was the loving husband to the late Kathleen F. (Paul) Paquette.

Roland was the son of the late Lionel and Cecile Paquette of Canada.

Roland was an only child growing up on Orchard Street in Cranston, RI. He entered his military service at 18 years old and was instantly thrown into the jungle of Vietnam.  Roland was a very proud Army veteran earning E5 Sargent prior to leaving his service.

Upon returning from service Roland worked as a polisher in the jewelry industry for many years prior to retiring.  Roland worked for Balfour and Charles Thomas.

He found joy playing drums in a country rock band, entertaining fans all over Southern New England.

Roland met Katherine and spent a wonderful 37 years together.

Roland is survived by his son Raymond Paquette of Attleboro and three grandchildren; Raymond Jr., Shelten, and Wyatt.  He was the great grandfather to two great grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Calling hours will be on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 4 PM to 7PM at Foley- Cook New Day 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, MA. A Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 12 Noon at St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston, RI 02920.
