NEW BEDFORD-Ronald Helme age 77 of New Bedford passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital. Ronald was born on April 25 1947 to the late Robert Godfrey and Nancy (Wallace) Helme.

Ronald was a life long resident of New Bedford. He was an active member of the Wampanoag Tribe. Ronald enjoyed playing cribbage with his friends. He also liked working with his hands and working on cars.

Ronald was survived by his former wife, Adeline;   sons, Treg and his wife Sara of Florida, Craig and his wife Eileen of New Bedford, his daughter, Ronelle and her husband David Stevens of Scituate and Ashley Colon of New Bedford;  grandsons, Treg Jr., Craig Jr., Anthony and Grant, granddaughters Hailey, Jada and Adriana;  his brothers, Robert, Ricky and his wife Wendy;  sisters, Lorraine and her husband Richard Wotruba and Loretta and her husband George Sfimridis, his best friend and cousin Steve and his wife Debbie and family.
