Ruth D. (Roy) Braley, 87 of New Bedford passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. She was the wife of the late Raymond Braley.

Born in New Bedford she was the daughter of the late Roland and Ruth (Heyes) Roy. Ruth was known as the "Queen of Clean", she took pride in keeping an immaculate home. She loved watching the Weather Channel, old western movies and listening and dancing to Country Music. Ruth especially loved spending time with her dear friend Amanda.  She was a dog lover and had many beloved pets throughout her life.

She is survived by two sisters, Beverly Garceau of New Bedford and Nancy barber of Florida. Ruth was the mother of the late Brenda Jalbert.
