NORWOOD-Sandra B. (Dion) Bramwell, 73 of New Bedford passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Norwood Healthcare of MA after a long illness.  She was the loving wife of 51 years to Peter S. Bramwell.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Romeo Dion, Sr. And Theresa (Hebert) Dion, she was a lifelong resident of the city.  Sandra was a secretary in the New Bedford School System for many years until her retirement.  She enjoyed spending time at the beach, walks and knitting.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband Peter;  two sons, Scott Bramwell of Germantown, MD and Eric Bramwell of Norwood;  two grandchildren, Kyle and Madison Bramwell;  her siblings, Romeo Dion, Jr. and his wife Janet of New Bedford and Michelle Moreira and her husband Kenneth of Fall River and the late Lucille Dion;  also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated and memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 4-7PM in the Donaghy New Day Cremation and Funeral Care, 465 County Street, New Bedford.
