ACUSHNET - Susan Moreau, 76, of Acushnet, Massachusetts passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, June 12 after a long battle with multiple myeloma with the love and support of her family.

She was the beloved wife of Laurent Moreau for 40 years.

Born in Dighton, Massachusetts the daughter of George Jordan and Katherine (Handziak) Jordan. She graduated from Taunton High School and studied art at Southeastern Massachusetts University. She worked as a legal secretary until her retirement. She is loved and missed by husband Laurent Moreau; a daughter Kristen deAlmeida and son-in-law Joe deAlmeida; three grandchildren, Jordan Schweidenback and his wife Danielle Schweidenback, Alex deAlmeida, and Nicholas deAlmeida; two sisters and a brother Kathy Taber, Joan Cayton and Kevin Jordan; and many nieces and nephews.

She took pride and joy in spending time with her family and making memories that will be forever cherished. She enjoyed the peace and tranquility of Myles Standish teaching her family to appreciate the simplicity of life. She spent countless hours sharing her creativity through her passions of painting, scrapbooking, and cardmaking with her best friend Sue Church. She will be forever remembered by the joy and comfort that her memories bring us.

In her battle with cancer she leaves behind a legacy of courage, strength and an unbreakable spirit. Per Susan's request, no funeral or memorial services will be held.
