Timothy "Scott" Ridings, 34, of Rochester passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 22, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the fiancé of Jaclyn Bell.

Born in Wareham, son of VanessaDale Leigh Ridings and the late Raymond L. Sylvester, Jr., he lived most of his life in Rochester. Scott attended Taunton High School and worked at Ocean State Lobster.  He loved his job and loved to work!

Scott lived by the philosophy SRH, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends, trips to Seekonk Motor Speedway and horror  movies.

He is survived by his mother, VanessaDale Ridings of Rehoboth;  his fiancée Jaclyn Bell of Rochester;  his grandmother, Joyce Harriman of New Bedford;  children, Abraham James Ridings of Attleboro and Leona M. Bell of Rochester;  his siblings, Katrina Leonard and her husband Eric of KY, Nicole Sartre, Raymond Ridings and Jacob Perry all of Taunton;  several aunts and uncles, Jay Eddleston and his wife Kasi of Rochester, Theresa Ridings and Sandra Adams both of New Bedford, Tara Lessa of ME, Courtland Ridings and his wife Ann Marie of Mattapoisett, Robin Simpkins of ME and the late Abraham G. Ridings, III. Also survived by many cousins to include, Carl Tilton, Andrew and Cameron Ridings, Danny Tripp, Stephanie Ridings, Ashley Adams and Danny Hackett. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Sandra and Neal Eddleston and Abraham and Cecelia Ridings.
