NEW BEDFORD - Warren Houtman II, 60, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. He was the loving husband of Rosemary (Fumo) Houtman.

Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Warren C. Houtman, Sr. and Faith and Sonny Silva. Warren drove school bus for Whaling City Transit. He served in the U.S. Army during the 1980’s and coached for YA football team and won three championships back to back.

Warren is survived by his wife Rosemary; his children Angelina, Jacqueline, Zachary, Mikey, Lainie, Mario Jr, Steven, Krystal, and Justin; grandchildren Lyla, Terra, Rinoa, Mila, Niko, Dexter, Ariel, Javier, Jonathan, Star, Jacob, Ginyania, Zeekle, Lilyanna, Carson, and Bentley; and his siblings Robin Mendes, Kerrie Silva, Tracie Silva, Lainie Silva, Tommy “Gun” Goyette.

He was predeceased by his parents Faith and Sonny Silva.
