William Donald Joseph, age 81, of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in New Bedford, William was the son of the late Leroy and Ida (Colby) Joseph. He dedicated his career to working as a machinist for JC Rhodes. Outside of work, William found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a passion for playing pool and ping pong. His favorite place was Martha's Vineyard, where he cherished time by the ocean. He also looked forward to annual trips to the White Mountains, creating lasting memories with those he loved.

William is survived by his daughter Deborah Heyes and her husband Shane; his brother Leroy "Roy" Joseph; his grandchildren Austin Heyes and Noah Heyes and his 3 nephews.

In addition to his parents, William was predeceased by his sister Irene Joseph and his sister-in-law Paula Joseph.
